Dutco Balfour Beatty wins golf course work
The local/UK Dutco Balfour Beatty has won a AED150m ($41m) building contract at The Tiger Woods Dubai development in Dubailand.
The scope of works involves the completion of all commercial buildings at the Al Ruwaya Golf Club, including the Al-Ruwaya Clubhouse, Al-Ruwaya Golf Academy, three refreshment stations, and a maintenance complex.
The contract is the latest award on the 5 square kilometre residential golf development. In March this year the local Al-Nasr Contracting Company won a second infrastructure contract at the Tiger Woods golf development (MEED 22:3:09).
Australia’s APP International is the project manager.
Tiger Woods Dubai, which is part of local developer Tatweer, is the client. Tatweer is part of Dubai Holding’s newly merged property company.
