US-based hotel and casino operator to open two properties at the Bluewaters development

Local developer Meraas and US-based Caesars Entertainment Corporation plan to open two luxury hotels, a conference centre and a beach club at the Bluewaters development in Dubai.

Caesars Entertainment will operate the 178-key Caesars Palace Bluewaters Dubai and the 301-room Caesars Bluewaters Dubai hotels, which are expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The Bluewaters development is being built on a manmade island off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Residence. As well as hotels, the project also includes apartment buildings, a retail centre and a large ferris wheel called Ain Dubai.

The contractors working on the project include the local Alec, a joint venture of the local ASGC and the UK’s Kier, Canada’s Brookfield Multiplex and South Korea’s Hyundai Engineering & Construction.
