Egypt's Cairo International Airport has carried out an investment plan totalling LE1.6bn ($291m) this year. The airport netted profits exceeding LE500 million in 2007/08. A passenger transport facility, linking the airport's three passenger terminals and the garage, will also be tendered in January next year.
