Union National Bank granted an initial approval to open a branch in Kuwait
Kuwait’s Central Bank has granted the UAE’s Union National Bank (UNB) initial approval to open a branch in the Gulf state, Khaleej Times has reported. The move is in line with the lender’s expansion strategy in the GCC and the region and follows on from UNB’s newly established branch in the Qatar Financial Centre and a representative office in Shanghai, China.
