The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has appointed Halcrow, part of US-based CH2M Hill, to provide consultancy services for work on its road network in Qatar.

The call-off consultancy services contract to provide professional road safety engineering, road design, quantity surveying, and contract supervision services to the asset affairs – roads operations and maintenance department of Ashghal.

The expected QR600m ($165m) of improvements are part of Qatar’s National Road Safety Action Plan.
