
Consultancy deal will help improve road safety in Qatar
The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has appointed Halcrow, part of US-based CH2M Hill, to provide consultancy services for work on its road network in Qatar.
The call-off consultancy services contract to provide professional road safety engineering, road design, quantity surveying, and contract supervision services to the asset affairs roads operations and maintenance department of Ashghal.
The expected QR600m ($165m) of improvements are part of Qatars National Road Safety Action Plan.
