Work on the raft foundation for Paramount Towers is now complete

Local developer Damac Properties says the construction of the superstructure for the four towers of its Paramount Towers development in Dubai can start as work on the raft foundation has now been completed.

More than 19,000 cubic metres of concrete and over 2.2 metric tonnes of reinforced bar were used in the construction of the raft.

The 250 metre-tall towers will be linked by a multi-level plaza. One tower comprises the Paramount Hotel with the remaining three towers housing the Damac Maison-Paramount co-branded serviced Hotel Residences.

Turkey’s TAV was awarded a AED1bn ($272m) contract to build the project in September 2013.
