Construction work has started in Dubai on a new facility for regional chocolate brand Patchi.

Located in Al-Quoz, the 7,000 square metre facility has two floors of management offices and space for the company’s workshop division. The building has been designed to be environmentally friendly and is due to be completed in mid-2017.

The contractor working on the project is the local Buildmark Contracting.

“We are committed to strengthening Patchi’s Presence in the UAE, where we opened our first boutique over 33 years ago, through the re-construction of our new state of the art and sustainable offices,” said Oussama Choucair, CEO of Patchi UAE at a groundbreaking ceremony on 5 January. “This new development is a testament to our belief that the UAE is the best place to set up our operation to cater for our ever expanding network of boutiques.”
