Contract awarded for Dubai highrise

Lebanon's Arabian Construction Company (ACC) has been awarded an estimated AED 214 million ($58 million) design-build contract for the construction of a high-rise tower on Sheikh Zayed highway in Dubai.Known as the Rose Tower, the project calls for the construction of a 72-storey building with a total height of 333 metres.

The mixed-use development will offer 535 furnished apartments and include the construction of a nine-storey car park to be connected to the tower by a pedestrian bridge. The facilities will take about 32 months to complete. The consultant is Lebanon's Khatib & Alami; the client is a local private investor.
