Contractors approached for Gemini tower project

Local developer Omniyat Properties has invited selected companies to express interest in the main contract for its Gemini tower project at Dubai’s Business Bay.

The estimated AED500m ($136m) project involves the construction of a 20-storey tower with about 25,000 square metres of office space. The project manager is the local Hamilton Project Management.

In March Omniyat awarded the local/Australian Nasa Multiplex the estimated AED800m contract to build its Opus project at Business Bay. The total built-up area is 85,000 square metres. Completion is expected by early 2010. The architect is the London-based Zaha Hadid (MEED 25:3:08).
