
Four firms have prequalified for gas pipeline contract
Four contractors have prequalified for a Saudi Aramco project to install new gas pipelines at the Juaymah gas export facility, according to an industry source.
The project is known as Enhanced LPG Piping Network at Juaymah and has an estimated budget of $100m.
The prequalified bidders are:
- Arkad Engineering & Construction Company (formerly known as Saudi KAD)
- China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Corporation
- Huta Group
- Saudi Services for Electro Mechanic Works
The deadline for bids to be submitted is 30 August.
The front-end engineering and design (feed) was completed by the US-listed Jacobs Engineering Group.
