Khaldoun Tabari will remain major shareholder in Dubai company
Dubai-listed Drake & Scull International has announced the resignation approval of Khaldoun Tabari from his post as CEO and the appointment of Wael Allan, the companys chief operating officer, as the new group CEO.
Allans appointment marks the final phase of a six-month management transition process that started with his appointment as chief operating officer in the first half of this year.
Tabari will continue to be a non-executive board member, a member of the executive committee, vice-chairman and a major shareholder.
Allan has more than 26 years of global management experience in construction across the US, Europe, the Far East and the Middle East.
Before his appointment at DSI, Allan was CEO for Arcadis Middle East.
He has also worked for Skanska USA Buildings, Washington Group International and Raytheon Engineers & Constructors.
