
Facilities will be built in India and the Palestinian territories
Dubai-based Drake & Scull International (DSI) says its wholly-owned German subsidiary Passavant Energy & Environment (PE&E) has been awarded three contracts to build wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) in New Delhi and Bangalore in India as well as Gaza in the Palestinian territories for a combined value of AED246m ($67m).
PE&E will undertake the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) work for the WWTPs and also assume responsibility for the process design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and operations and maintenance for the plants.
The company will execute the projects with joint venture partners. In New Delhi it will work with Indias Larsen & Toubro and in Gaza with the local Masoud & Ali Contracting Company.
