Local firm will expand network at Dubai Sports City development
The local Drake & Scull has been awarded a AED120m ($32.7m) contract by Emirates District Cooling (Emicool) to expand the district cooling system within Sports City in Dubai.
The expansion will extend the supply of chilled water from the Hessa Street district cooling plant to new buildings within the Sports City development. Canadas MHPM Driver is managing the project, which is completed to be completed by July 2018.
The network will increase the production capacity for the Sports City development to 77,000 refrigerated tonnes (RT).
