Pumping station will be installed on Dubai to Al-Ain road
State utility Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (Dewa) has extended the bid submission date for the contract to build a pumping station on the Dubai to Al-Ain road.
Contractors now have until 27 September to submit proposals for the project. The original submission date was 29 August.
The pumping station will have the capacity to handle up to 30 million imperial gallons a day (MIGD). Dewa had set an initial bid submission date of 29 August for the deal.
The project is part of Dewas programme to upgrade and expand Dubais water transmission infrastructure
