The DFM General Index gained Monday 0.92% to close at 1,674.77 points. Shares of the DFM, which is the only publicly listed Arab market, posted the largest gain, ending 3.33% higher at Dhs1.55. Real estate developer Union Properties ended 1.55% to finish at Dhs0.394, as most real estate shares advanced at the DFM. Telecom provider Du missed the market’s advance and declined 0.34% to end at Dhs2.93. Trading volumes declined ahead of the UAE National Holidays to 64.94m shares changing hands.
