Tower will be made up of 300 residential units
Dubai-listed developer Emaar Properties has announced the launch of a new residential tower at its Dubai Creek Harbour project.
The 43-storey tower, which will be called 17 Icon Bay, will be made up of 300 residential units and will be located in the Central Park area of the masterplanned community, near Dubai International airport.
Another key component of the Dubai Creek Harbour development is planned to be the worlds tallest structure, which will be known as The Tower at Dubai Creek Harbour.
In July, Emaar went back to the market to find contractors to work on the tower. According to sources close to the project, the developer has asked construction companies to express interest in the main construction deal.
The 6-square-kilometre Dubai Creek Harbour development is located in the Ras al-Khor area on the banks of the Dubai Creek. The programme manager for the development is US-based Hill International. The scheme is being developed by a joint venture of Emaar and Dubai Holding.
