The 1 million square-metre development includes residences and a hotel
Emaar Properties will develop property at the Dubai Harbour development in Dubai.
The local developer says it will build residential units and a hotel with a floor area of about 1 million square metres. The hotel will be operated by Emaars Address Hotels + Resorts brand.
Dubai Harbour was launched by its master developer Meraas in January this year. Construction work has already started on the project with the local Project Link as the contractor.
The overall project includes a 1,400-berth marina as well as a cruise ship port and terminal, a 325,000-square-metre shopping mall, an events arena, residential buildings, hotels, offices, retail stores, public services, restaurants and cafes, and a 135-metre tall tower known as Dubai Lighthouse. Altogether, it will cover an area of more than 1.86 million sq m.
The masterplan integrates Skydive Dubai, Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) and Logo Island into a single community.
