Two towers will be built in Downtown district
Local developer Emaar Properties has received bids from contractors for the contract to build its Boulevard Heights project in Dubai.
The project, which is being developed near Downtown Dubais Opera District, will be made up of two towers with 52 and 47 storeys, comprising up to 500 apartments.
The project is set for completion in 2018.
Emaar is busy developing other towers at its Downtown and Dubai Creek Harbour developments. The largest project is the 928-metre-plus tall tower at Dubai Creek Harbour. Contractors submitted prequalification documents for the contract to build it on 5 September. The tender documents are planned to be issued in October. The tender period will be six weeks, and an award for the fast-track project is scheduled for the end of December.
