Local developer Emaar Properties has invited selected contractors to bid by the end of October for a contract to build two towers at its Downtown Burj Dubai development.
The works involve the construction of two residential towers with a total built-area of about 150,000 square metres.
The tallest tower will be about 30 floors and the second tallest will be 25 floors.
The local Cassia & Partners is the consultant.
In July Lebanon's Arabian Construction Company (ACC) was awarded an estimated AED815m ($222m) contract to build residential towers on plots 50 to 53, with a total built-up area of 145,000 square metres (MEED 9:7:08).
