Emaar invites bids for residential project in Dubai
Local developer Emaar has invited contractors to submit bids by 19 January for the contract to build The Hills development in Dubai.
The project, which was launched in 2013, is a collection of residential and hospitality towers located off Sheikh Zayed Road overlooking Emirates Golf Club, in close proximity to Emaar Business Park, Dubai Media City and Dubai Marina.
The estimated AED1bn ($272m) construction contract involves building a common podium with six towers. There will be four residential towers and two serviced apartments and hotels managed by Vida Hotels.
The local Dar is the design consultant for the project.
Emaar announced several new projects last year, such as the Dubai Creek Harbour at The Lagoons, Dubai Hills Estate, the expansion of Arabian Ranches and The Opera District in Downtown Dubai.
