Local aluminium company buy plant in techno park for an undisclosed fee

Emirates Extrusion Factory (EEF) has bought an aluminium extrusion plant in Dubai from Uzbekistan’s Akfa Aluminium & Plastic for an undisclosed figure.

The deal means that EEF, a subsidiary of Dubai Investments, will take over the lease of a 10,000 square metres factory at Techno Park in Jebel Ali Free Zone. Procurement of process equipment including an extrusion press, automatic and manual coating lines, anodising line, wood finish line and a thermal break line is also included. EEF did not disclose the capacity of the current facilities.

EEF has been operating since 1993 and produces extruded aluminium products predominantly used in the construction industry.
