UAE company to add new line in Dubai to produce 6,000 tonnes a year of extrusions
UAE-based Emirates Extrusion Factory (EEF) plans to increase its extruded aluminium capacity by a third by adding a new line to its operations in Dubai.
The new installation will have the capacity to produce 6,000 tonnes a year (t/y), increasing EEF’s output from the current 18,000 t/y, the company said. The extrusion will be supplied by China’s Foshan Cometal Industrial Machinery Company.
The expansion will meet a growth in demand for aluminium extrusions over the last year, which is driven by a revival in the real estate sector, according to EEF. The products are used for facade glazing, furniture, showcase units and interior decoration.
EEF is the Ajman-based subsidiary of Masharie, the private equity arm of Dubai Investments.
