Blending facility in Jebel Ali, Dubai, complements existing operation in Fujairah
Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc) has expanded the capacity to produce and blend lubricants and greases, after opening a new plant in Jebel Ali, Dubai.
The new plant has the capacity to produce 12,000 tonnes a year (t/y), with scope for increasing the capacity to 35,000 t/y. The expansion also increases Enocs capacity to store raw materials and finished products.
The Jebel Ali facility complements Enoc existing operation in Fujairah, bringing the groups total lubricants and grease capacity to more than 300,000 t/y.
Enoc Lubricants & Grease Manufacturing Plant (ELOMP) produces and sells synthetic (full and partial) motor oils, gear and industrial oils, transmission fluids, brake fluids, grease and antifreeze.
The plant can blend a wide range of oils including automotive engine oils, gear oils, transmission oils, speciality oils, industrial oils such as marine, railroad, hydraulic, turbine, compressor and gear oils, as well as automotive and industrial greases.
