Project will be built at Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa City A

Abu Dhabi-based airline Etihad Airways has invited consultants and contractors to prequalify for a contract to expand its headquarters building at Khalifa City A.

The extension will be built across the road from the existing headquarters with a sky bridge linking to the two buildings.

Etihad is looking for a lead consultant to prepare a concept design which will then be developed into a detailed design. The consultant will also be responsible for obtaining approvals from the municipality and other government bodies.

The airline is also looking for a project manager to manage the tender process, and the construction of the project. It is also looking for a contractor that has completed projects totalling more than AED750m ($204m).
