Jordan’s Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources (MEMR) has invited mining companies to submit expressions of interest (EOI) for a gold exploration contract in the kingdom.
MEMR has invited mining companies to submit EOI by 1 March.
The contract will involve exploring gold deposits in the Wadi Araba area in Southern Jordan. MEMR has already undertaken some initial exploration works, which yielded “encouraging signs” for developing a gold mining industry in the country.
