Saudi Aramco has awarded three site development contracts to local contractor Mofarreh Marzouq AlHarbi & Partners, as part of the company’s mega gas project in Haradh and Hawiyah.
The deals — the value for which was undisclosed — calls upon the Dammam-headquartered contractor to undertake the construction of roads and carry out earthworks in Haradh and Hawiyah.
Aramco last month signed a number of agreements with several engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors for enhancing its gas compression programme at Haradh and Hawiyah. Together, the contracts were valued at nearly $4.5bn.
The Hawiyah gas plant expansion project will provide additional gas processing facilities to process 1.07b standard cubic feet a-day (scf/d) of raw sweet gas, installing a pipeline network to allow free flow 290m scf/d of natural gas from the Haradh field to the Hawiyah gas plant.
