Companies given bid deadline of 20 June
PetroChina has invited firms to bid for a deal to install field surface facilities at the Halfaya oil field development in Iraq.
The company has set a bid submission deadline of 20 June for the procurement, construction and commissioning tender.
The field surface facilities will be installed around central processing facility (CPF) three, part of PetroChinas third-phase expansion of the Halfaya field.
The expansion will increase the fields production capacity to 535,000 barrels a day (b/d) with the construction of the main facilities and a gas processing plant.
The Halfaya consortium includes PetroChinas parent group China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Malaysia-based Petronas, Frances Total and state-owned Missan Oil Company.
