Biography: Faysal Badran heads NCB Capital, a Saudi-based wealth and asset management business. He leads a team of 45 people with $12bn in assets under management.
Badran is responsible for NCB Capitals regional and international equities, global fixed income, money market and alternative investments, as well as the product management group, investment strategies unit and the investments and allocation process. Prior to joining the firm, Badran spent five years at its parent bank, National Commercial Bank (NCB), working in the office of the chief financial officer and in the international sector division.
He played a key role in NCBs acquisition of a majority stake and the subsequent reorganisation of Turkiye Finans, Turkeys largest participation banking network. Badran has a bachelors degree in economics from DePauw University in the US.
