FlyDubai has put in orders for engines and winglets totalling $750m. The deals were signed during the Farnborough Air Show. The first agreement is with CFM International, a 50/50 JV between Snecma and GE, for 100 CFM56-7B engines to power its earlier orders of 50 Boeing 737-800/900s. It has also placed orders for blended winglets from Aviation Partners Boeing, worth $50m.
