Dr Saad al-Barrak, former chief executive of Kuwait's Zain group, has set up a new IT and telecoms firm that will provide management and consultancy services, Meed has reported. The new firm, called ILA, will be based in Bahrain and is to operate across the Middle East and North Africa region, but will also target East Europe and the Americas. Further details of the company are planned to be revealed on November 8 at a press conference in Abu Dhabi.
