ADPI CEO to discuss future cooperation with Iranian authorities
A spokesperson for Aeroports de Paris (ADPI) Group has confirmed chief executive Augustin de Romanet has accepted Iranian authorities invitation to discuss future projects cooperation.
The company, however, would not comment on the specific details of the potential projects that will be discussed between Romanet and Irani officials.
Citing local media reports, MEED earlier reported that the ADPI has been in discussions with Irani authorities for the development or expansion of three airports including the Imam Khomeini International, Mashhad and Shiraz airports.
Iran urgently needs to upgrade its airport infrastructure. Roads and Urban Development Minister Abbas Kundi acknowledged recently that international partners and investors are required to develop the countrys airports.
