Oman-based firm Galfar secures deal to refurbish central banks headquarters
Local Galfar Engineering & Contracting Company (Galfar E&C) has won a RO25.3 ($65.7m) contract for the Central Bank of Omans headquarters refurbishment and new car park/office complex project.
The award is for the first two phases of the main contract and has a completion period of 42 months in addition to two weeks for mobilisation.
The company has bid for several contracts this year, including package 2 for the $2.6bn Batinah Expressway project in Oman. In 2012, Galfar E&C won a $361m deal for package one of the project.
