Local contractor wins $35-40m pipeline contract
The local Alsa Engineering & Construction has been awarded a deal by Abu Dhabi Gas Industries (Gasco) estimated at $35-40m to build a nitrogen pipeline between industrial sites at Mirfa and Ruwais.

Elixier is a a joint venture of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and Germany’s Linde Group.
Alsa was also competing for a deal to build an acid-flare gas system at the gas processing complex in Habshan, also valued at at $35m, but lost out to Pakistan’s Descon Engineering (MEED 10:10: 11).
