GCC citizens allowed entry into Saudi Arabia with ID cards

Saudi Passports Department in Riyadh makes statement

Saudi Arabia has said that citizens from the GCC countries are now allowed to enter the kingdom using their identity cards, Arabic Aleqtisadiah has reported. “Saudi citizens can now travel to the other GCC countries using only their ID while nationals from the other GCC members can also use ID to enter Saudi Arabia,” Badr al-Malik, a spokesman for the Saudi Passports Department in Riyadh was quoted as saying.
