Gulf Air has installed an integrated Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) system for the entire fleet, the Gulf Daily News has reported. The new FDM system will use up to the minute digital flight data to improve the quality and safety of all Gulf Air flights, the carrier has said. The data provided by the FDM system would also be a valuable tool in other areas including maintenance and troubleshooting, navigation services, operations planning, environmental impact as well as aircraft performance.
