The MEED Projects index passed two milestones in the week ending 21 July, with the value of projects planned and under way in the GCC exceeding $2 trillion for the first time and the regional total breaking through $2.3 trillion.
In what was otherwise a quiet week, due to the onset of the holiday season, Bahrain registered the highest growth with the value of its project portfolio rising by 2.7 per cent.
Year on year, the overall MEED Projects index is up by 42 per cent.
