In the week ending 4 August, the MEED Projects index registered a 1 per cent rise, with the value of projects planned and under way in the Middle East reaching $2.32 trillion.

The fastest growth was recorded in the UAE and Iraq, with the value of projects increasing by 1.5 per cent and 1.4 per cent respectively. The size of Kuwait’s portfolio of projects was unchanged this week. The index is up 43.1 per cent on the previous year.
