Biography: Hassan Dawood joined newly established digital media agency Alsayegh Media in May this year and is working on developing mobile applications for the health sector.

Based in Dubai’s Media City, Alsayegh Media was set up to provide digital development, strategy, content, social media and mobile applications services. A trained medic, Dawood worked as a clinician in the UK’s NHS in Lancashire for two years.

In 2008, he became a strategic medical advisor at the North West Strategic Health Authority in the UK. A year later, he moved to the UAE to work as an e-health researcher and paediatrician for Dubai Health Authority. Dawood has a degree in medical sciences from the University of St Andrews.

He is currently finishing a master’s in health informatics at Hamdan bin Mohammed e-University, based in Dubai.
