HEC Executive MBA profile

The HEC Executive MBA offered in Doha is a practical and intense programme developed to provide executives with an understanding of the social, economic and environmental aspects of international business, as well as the skills to put their vision into action.

The international diversity in the class and the programme structure were a clear asset. The EMBA has opened doors and contacts that didn’t exist before

Our focus on leadership and the global business environment ensures our participants gain comprehensive, innovative, and applicable knowledge and skills. In keeping with HEC’s motto, “The more you know, the more you dare”, our goal is not only to strengthen the technical expertise and leadership skills of future global leaders, but also to enable them to “dare” to implement innovative solutions.

The HEC Executive MBA is delivered across 14 to 16 months of study. Flexible formats are designed for a senior executive’s schedule. During the programme, participants are exposed to state-of-the-art management knowledge through original and engaging learning activities.

Conducted in Paris, Beijing, Shanghai, St Petersburg and Doha, the Executive MBA allows participants to remain in their home track throughout the programme, or to take classes in different tracks. The HEC Executive MBA curriculum is made up of three key components: core courses, Majors and two capstone projects allowing participants to apply key learnings immediately.

The HEC Executive MBA Majors are designed to allow participants to develop special competence in a particular area. Participants may choose from six Majors: Aviation and Aerospace; Managing in an Energy-concerned Economy; Luxury; Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Differentiation through Service; and Global Business Perspectives.

The HEC Executive MBA is being held in Doha in the context of HEC Paris’s new partnership with the Qatar Foundation, making HEC the first member of the Qatar Foundation’s Management and Research Centre (QF-MERC).
