US-based Hill International has been selected to serve as the project and construction manager for Qatar Industrial Manufacturing Company’s (QIMC) new QR500m ($137m) headquarters in Doha.

The proposed tower will be located on the Corniche Road and will replace QIMC’s present headquarters.

The signing ceremony was attended by QIMC’s chief executive officer (CEO) Abdul Rahman al-Ansari and Hill’s senior vice-president and managing director Mohammed al-Rais.

“As part of this contract, we will start the design phase and secure the required permits to build a multipurpose tower of 25 to 30 floors on the current building land,” Al-Ansari said at the ceremony.
