The International Air Transport Association (IATA) said it will invest $8m in 2009 to fund IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) audits for its 224 member airlines. Giovanni Bisignani, IATA's Director-General and CEO, said While announcing that all its member airlines were listed on the Iosa registry, Giovanni Bisignani, Iata's Director-General and CEO, said non-Iata members can receive an IOSA audit by contracting with one of the eight accredited audit organisations.
