IDF kills four

07 November 2003
Three suspected Palestinian militants and a ten-year-old boy were killed by the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) on 7 November in the Gaza Strip. Two Palestinian men were killed near the Al-Muazi refugee camp by the IDF as they attempted to plant an explosive device on the road, reported the local daily Haaretz. The explosive device detonated during the confrontation, but no soldiers were reported injured. Another Palestinian was shot dead by the IDF while trying to plant a bomb near the road in the southern Gaza Strip.

The 10-year old Palestinian boy was killed by a shell fired by an IDF tank in the Gaza Strip near Kibbutz Nahal Oz. An IDF source said soldiers opened fire at suspicious figures in an off-limits area close to the Israeli border in the northern Gaza Strip. Witnesses said the boy had been hunting for birds.
