
US engineering consultancy will carry out project management consultancy on two plants in Yanbu
The local Khair Inorganic Chemical Industries Company (InoChem) has awarded the US Jacobs Engineering the project management consultancy (PMC) contract for its complex at Yanbu on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia.
Under the terms of the deal, Jacobs will provide PMC services for the second phase construction of a 300,000 tonne-a-year (t/y) of soda ash plant and a 300,000 t/y calcium chloride production facility.
