Contract estimated to be worth $60m
Iran’s East Azarbaijan Water and Wastewater Company has issued a request for qualification (RFQ) to contractors for the estimated €45m ($60m) second phase of the Tabriz sewage treatment plant.
Companies have until 26 January to respond to the RFQ. The second phase will have a capacity of 129,600 cubic meters a day and is to be completed on an engineering, procurement, construction and finance basis.
The winning contractor will design, construct, procure, transport, install and operate the facility at Tabriz city in East Azarbaijan province.
The project will take about three years to build, followed by a two-year contract for operating the plant.
