Iraq’s power generation, transmission and distribution system in 2011 and beyond
Progress with Iraq’s reconstruction since 2003 has been slower than anticipated, but MEED’s webinar demonstrates how the country’s government is pressing ahead with ambitious programmes of investment in power generation, transmission and distribution.
The online seminar presents the context of Iraq’s turbulent recebt history, outlines government plans and looks at how the country intends to transform the Iraqi power sector, which is currently under severe pressure to facilitate a growing public demand for electricity.
The presentation is given by Editorial Director Richard Thompson and Edward James, Head of MEED Insight.
