JAL Hotels has announced its five-star property in Dubai is expected to open this year after a majority stake in the hospitality company was acquired by a rival Japanese hotel chain, The National has reported. The 51-storey, 471-room Hotel JAL Tower Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road is JAL Hotels’ second in the UAE and in the Middle East, with the other property a resort in Fujairah. Both are owned by Kuwait-based ACICO.
