Contract awarded to a local firm for the first phase of the scheme
Local developer Jumeirah Golf Estates has appointed a contractor for the $100m first phase of its Al-Andalus project in Dubai.
The main construction contract was awarded to the local Sumer Contracting, according to a company spokesperson.
Mobilising work has started, with delivery of the project expected in mid-2018.
The architect on the project is the local Engineering Consultants Group.
The scope of the work includes the building of two residential towers with a total number of 647 apartments.
The $250m Al-Andalus project will also comprise of 75 townhouses.
