KDC wins rig order

State upstream operator Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has awarded Kuwait Drilling Company (KDC) a five-year contract worth KD 21.7 million ($75 million) to supply and operate a medium-depth onshore drilling rig.
State upstream operator Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has awarded Kuwait Drilling Company (KDC) a five-year contract worth KD 21.7 million ($75 million) to supply and operate a medium-depth onshore drilling rig.

In February, Canada's Precision Drilling International (PDI) and the local Burgan Company for Well Drilling, Trading & Maintenance were awarded two five-year contracts, totalling more than KD 12 million ($42 million), to supply and operate two onshore drilling rigs for KOC (MEED 10:3:06).
