Dubai-headquartered consultancy has won $550m in new orders this year

Dubai-headquartered energy and industrial engineering company Kent has announced it has added $550m to its order backlog by way of new project wins across the globe, including in the Middle East.

Kent said it has won a project management consultancy (PMC) contract from an “existing framework agreement with a major energy company in the Middle East". MEED understands this client could be Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc); Kent has been a part of Adnoc's team of PMC services providers since 2019.

The company, backed by London-based energy investment firm Bluewater Energy, has also secured new front-end engineering and design (feed) contracts in the region. These include a general engineering services (GES) contract, and a three-year maintenance contract in Qatar for various customers.
