Biography: Kevin Massengill joined the US’ Raytheon in May 2009 from UAE-based advisory Consultancy Partners Group, where he had been chief executive officer since March 2004.
Massengill served for 20 years in the US Army, including positions as infantry rifle platoon leader and Unified Command staff officer. His last assignment in the army was as Middle East foreign area officer at the US Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
Massengill has a bachelor’s degree in Russian area studies from the University of Missouri in the US and a master’s in Near Eastern studies from Princeton University, also in the US.
He is a member of the State Department’s Overseas Schools Advisory Council. Massengill served as chairman of the board for the American Community School in Abu Dhabi.
He also sat on the board of the American Business Group – Abu Dhabi, a unit of the US Chamber of Commerce.
